Acrylic Tank Manufacturing Expertise
Tankmaker specializes in 100% acrylic tank fabrication, offering superior performance compared to conventional glass:10× stronger than glass for enhanced safety92% light transmittance for superior clarityScratch-repair capability through polishingIn-house fabrication using MMA bulk polymerization & liquid acrylic bonding technologyThese features ensure long-lasting durability, better visibility, and optimal conditions for aquatic life.
Tankmaker's Milestone
Why acrylic is used in Tankmakers' Aquarium?
At Tankmaker.com, we made fish happy and take pride in everything we do including provide a sound and safe aquarium through acrylic.
Acrylic material allowed one could design, assemble, and fabricate all in house through liquid acrylic bonding. Acrylic plastic was first produced in 1928 and brought to the market by Rohm and Haas Company around 1933.
I) Safe: It is extremely durable material that is 10x times stronger than glass.
II) Ease of Maintenance: Acrylic is easy to clean and polish. It is possible to remove light scratches from acrylic with special abrasive compounds.
III) Excellent Optical Clarity:
Clear Acrylic has a 92 percent light transmittance rate (exclude allow UV-C wavelengths (100–290 nm). We have performed a clarity test, and Acrylic was found to have better clarity than the glass including the crystal grade.

Resistance to scratch
Another test was done for scratches. It showed the same effect that glass attenuate the yellow picture that appeared greenish.

Section B - Industrial & Aquaponics Tanks
Large-scale tank production for aquaculture and aquaponics factoriesProven capability in delivering:Hundreds of acrylic tanksHigh-capacity FRP tanks (e.g., 5,000-gallon systems)Tanks serve as the core infrastructure of aquaponics systems, where reliability is critical to prevent operational risks.
This section covers the 150 units of acrylic tanks and 20 units of 5,000-gallon FRP tanks supplied by Tankmaker.com Team in 2003 together with a turnkey Aquaponics Project.
